December Issue of Flightline Now Available

The December issue has been posted. This month's issue features photos of some of the 4000+ kids flown this year by EAA 119 in the Young Eagles program.

The program is open to kids 8-17. Participants will get a free, 20-minute flight along with a commemorative photo and certificate.

Free lunch is also included for the kids. Parents can pay $3.00 if they would like lunch as well.

The Young Eagles Program has been developed by the EAA Aviation Foundation to welcome young people into the world of aviation. Aviation is exciting and vital to our nation's future. They will experience a safe and enjoyable flight that will give new perspectives on the world and life in general. Participation in the Young Eagle's Program will help them understand that an individual's potential is unlimited.

Note: This will be the last Young Eagles event in 2008.

 

The Watsonville Regional Airport Promotion PAC Dinner

The annual Watsonville Regional Airport Promotion-PAC (WRAP-PAC) dinner will be held on Saturday November 1, at 6:30 p.m., at the Green Valley Grill, 40 Penny Lane.  The speaker will be State Assembly Member Anna Caballero.
The WRAP dinner gives you an opportunity to visit with acting Mayor of Watsonville, Anna Caballero, members of the Watsonville City Council, County Supervisors plus several City Council candidates.
The cost is $50.00 per person. There are no tickets, just an attend list. If you are not already on the attend list, get on it by calling Chairman Dan Chauvet at 831-724-8256.

This month's issue features coverage of the Watsonville Airport Open House that was held on September 20th. Mike Corder also writes about his trip to the EAA AirVenture convention in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in his RV-7A.
